This month’s Choral Evensong is on Sunday, April 23rd at 6 pm.  A beautiful service using the words of the Book of Common Prayer.  Don’t miss it.

Our next 5th Sunday service is on Sunday, April 30th at 10 am at Thorpe Malsor. Let’s all join together in fellowship - do ask if you need transport.

Sunday, May 14th at 6.00 pm              Service of Remembrance for departed loved ones

Thursday, May 25th at 7.30 pm           Ascension Day Sung Eucharist at Rushton.

We are glad that all our Tresham benefice parishes paid their share to the diocese in full in

2016 - well done, everyone.  Sadly in the diocese the overall rate of payment has been 90%,

leaving a shortfall of over £700,000.  This is not sustainable without cuts. We are all asked

to review our giving.

Estimates are that the level of giving by parishioners to the church in this diocese is a little

over 3% of personal income.  If giving to PCC funds reached the minimum 5% level which

the Church of England has long recommended, the financial situation would be

transformed.  That would amount to an average weekly increase in stewardship giving

from £10.55 to £16.  If you would like to join our planned giving scheme please have a word

with David Cooke our Treasurer.

On weekdays John and Ruth would love members of the congregation to join them for Morning Prayer at 9 am in the Lady Chapel.  The service lasts 30 minutes and the days it is taking place are indicated in the weekly Pew News.  Please ask if you need to know the code for the side door.

As we prepare for our AGM next month it is time for all annual reports from church organisations to be sent to our PCC Secretary, Janet Clements (tel:  507721).  It is also time to renew our church electoral roll - application forms are to be found at the back of church.

Our group for children from 3 years upwards meets on the second Sunday of the month. Gather in church at 10.45 am. The aim of the Trinity Discoverers is to find out about Jesus through crafts, songs and activities. Come and enjoy!

From  September through to Spring the Bone Crypt to be open every 2nd Sunday from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

Please check before visiting in case
 there are no stewards available.
