CHRISTIAN AID WEEK

Is May 12th to May 18th. Archbishop Justin writes: ‘This Christian Aid Week, as we give, act and pray for our vulnerable sisters and brothers around the world, we remember especially our neighbours in Sierra Leone. Today in Sierra Leone 10 women will die from giving birth. A lack of hygiene, facilities and access to health care, exarcerbated by the Ebola crisis of 2014, means that mums and babies are at risk...We have the power to transform the lives of some of the world’s poorest people. Your support and the support of your parish, are so important.’

Please let John Westwood or Pam Shaw know a.s.a.p. if you are willing to be one of our house to house collectors this year.
