Holy Trinity, Rothwell

A place for everyone

        Benefice Fellowship

Although the Fellowship is connected to the church, it is open to everyone. We have members from Desborough, Rushton and Cransley as well as Rothwell who are not church members.

We meet on the third Thursday of the month in Cransley village hall, unless an outing has been arranged.

Our meetings are varied and interesting, including speakers and quizzes and always a cuppa and biscuits. Our outings are the same, bearing in mind the age of our members walking is kept to the minimum, but food is always available!

We have the use of the Rushton Community bus which holds 16 passengers plus the driver (always a Fellowship member) so no driving is involved unless members want to use their own car.

Members have visited Stately homes and gardens, had narrow boat trips on the Grand Union Canal (driver provided), heritage train journeys;  afternoon tea farm visits and a Christmas lunch to name a few. Some photos of these events can be found here.

The membership fee is £5 per annum and the cost of outings is kept to the minimum e.g £8 for bus and entrance fees if applicable.

We have over 25 members and are happy to welcome more.

If you would like any more information on outings or membership please feel free to message our chairman Colin on colin.spickett@gmail.com or secretary Laurel laurelspickett@gmail.com.
