The choir consists of 10 members plus four to five visiting singers joining for special events, all robed.
Choir leader is Norman Austin. Practices are on Tuesdays at 7pm in Church (use the south door to find us)
Choir leads the singing on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sunday mornings at 10:45am. (Third Sunday is a Family Service)
The morning communion setting is the Addington Service (composed by Richard Shepherd). Four hymns are sung during the service and during communion the choir produces an anthem or hymn.
The choir also receives invitations to sing at weddings, funerals and memorial services.
Rothwell Holy Trinity Church and Choir is an affiliated member of the R.S.C.M (Royal School of Church Music) and many members have received 'Voice for Life' awards.
Interested singers are welcome to join. The members of the choir are friendly, sincere, and devoted to the music at Holy Trinity Church.
You don't need any previous musical training or experience, just a love of music and community.
